Client Needs

Following the publication on the tender specification on the LSC Bravo site, a Further Education College in South West London expressed an interest in submitting a bid for Skill's for Jobs, Offenders in the Community provision. Crown Weston Associates were engaged to prepare the bid.

Results

Working with a specialist charity delivery agent who works with this client group and the college, we prepared and wrote the bid against the specification, gathering all the required information to demonstrate the capability to deliver the provision and for submission to the Learning and Skills Council.

The Learning and Skills Council awarded the contract for the provision to 180 participants to the partnership. The Learning and Skills Council further complemented the quality of the bid we had produced. Both the college and charity were extremely pleased to have been awarded the contract, and be working together.

Client Needs

Crown Weston Associates responded to a tender specification posted on Supply2.gov.uk to prepare and submit a detailed bid to develop and implement an overarching quality framework for a large national union organisation.

Results

The bid to develop, prepare and implement the framework over a six month period was short listed in the final three tenders from a strong field of some other 12 that had been submitted.

Crown Weston Associates were subsequently invited to attend an interview panel with the potential client and explain the tender and how the over arching quality framework would be developed, communicated, implemented and sustained. The client was extremely impressed with the quality and value for money demonstrated in the bid.
