Financial Appraisal Monitoring

Client Needs

As part of the contract management of a Skill's for Jobs programme we were required to undertake, complete and report on the outcomes of a Financial Appraisal Monitoring of the charity delivery agent.

Results

The Financial Appraisal Monitoring included the use of an internal control questionnaire (ICQ), systems audit, compliance and substantive testing, reporting on the findings and agreement of an action plan with the delivery agent.

As a result of completing the internal control questionnaire (ICQ), systems audit, compliance and substantive testing on a 30% sample, the audit identified a number of non compliances and agreed an action plan that was followed up to ensure the issues were satisfactorily resolved prior to any external auditing by the funding authority itself.
