Quality Improvement and Assurance (1)Client Needs The same Welfare to Work provider funded by Jobcentre Plus to deliver New Deal provision in both Hackney and North Shields required a Self Assessment report prepared against the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework. Results A Self Assessment Report was developed and prepared in readiness for inspection against the Ofsted Common Inspection framework, including Leadership and Management, Equality of Opportunity, Quality Improvement and the various stages of the New Deal provision (Gateway to Work, Options / IAP and Follow Through). This was done through interviewing staff, analysing and reviewing information and data, researching of NOMIS and extracting information to enable the organisations strengths and weaknesses against the criteria as specified within the Common Inspection Framework to be highlighted. We further developed, created and implemented a national customer feedback, suggestion, and complaints system, and the subsequent analysis and reporting of resulting data to show continuous improvement trends. The provider was supported leading into and through inspection. This resulted in the provision being graded as good (grade 2) both in Hackney and North Shields.
Quality Improvement and Assurance (2)Client Needs An FE College requested Crown Weston Associates to complete a scoping exercise against Part 1 of the Training Quality Standard (fundamentals, reform, deliver, relate, perform and improve, (formally the New Standard). Results Through interviewing all Heads of Schools across the college a report was prepared detailing the findings of the scoping exercise. This identified strengths and weaknesses against the criteria of the Training Quality Standard, with conclusions being drawn and recommendations made for how the college can address the identified issues.
